Spring 2012 News: We are currently sold out of all of our elk meat products. We will begin slaughtering again in August, so check back with us in early September for elk meat availability. Winter Hours: The weather continues to be wet and muddy, so come prepared for those conditions. We are in our "winter hours" (by appointment only). A little about us...Rosse Posse Acres is the realization of Alan & Brenda Ross' dream come true. We are a 52-acre working elk ranch with approximately 70 head of elk. Besides the elk, we have a small petting zoo with Fallow deer, pygmy goats, miniature donkeys, a miniature horse, Patagonian cavy, Wallaby, and chickens; kids especially love "Tucker" the Wallaby because he is so cute. The "Rosse Posse" (pronounced ross-ee poss-ee) was a nickname given to our family by one of our friends. We are a family of 6, so I guess we seemed like a posse to her. Anyhow, the name kind of stuck, so we just went with it. Our last name is actually "Ross", but that didn't rhyme with "posse" too well. How to get in touch with us...
