About our Bed & Breakfast...
The Ross residence is a 4,800 square foot, six bedroom, four bathroom
ranch colonial house
built in 2004. We rent a bedroom on the first floor, which has a luxurious king sized bed.
This bedroom is accommodated with DSL connections, a TV, a telephone, and an alarm
clock. The adjoining
bathroom is "adult friendly" with tall counters and an ADA-type shower
with grab-bars.
Ours is a non-smoking house, we prefer our guests who smoke to
do so outside.
Our room rate is $159.00 per night, which includes the 6% room
tax. Interested parties should contact us by
Email
or phone at (503) 829-7107.
| Rosse Posse Acres is a "working ranch", so visitors need
to be prepared that a stay with us means a stay with our family.
That also means a very unique opportunity to enjoy a day in the life of an elk
rancher. Interested parties may assist with feeding the elk, driving the
tractor, grooming the donkeys or miniature horse, and gathering eggs from the
chickens -- or, relaxing on the deck with a tall glass of tea while taking in
our breathtaking view of Mt. Hood. Our guests may be as involved or
relaxed here as they choose. |

Feeding the elk is a special privilege we offer only to our
B&B guests. During the "velveting" season, Alan loves to drive the tractor
or truck in with the bulls and spread the feed all around it. Then, with the
tractor turned off, we just sit there and relax and watch the bulls as they feed
all around us. This is a great time to get close up pictures of some very
impressive bulls! |
| There is always something to do here at Rosse
Posse Acres. If you are an active person, we have tetherball,
basketball, volleyball, horseshoe pit, or you can workout with our Bow-flex.
Or, maybe you just like to roll up your sleeves and "git-er-done!"
Check out little Sierra as she helps her dad prepare to pour a concrete
slab. |

Perhaps you prefer curling up on the couch or
relaxing on the porch with a good book. Our library has a nice
selection of books from Louis L'Amour westerns to romance novels to
self-help books. |
| Your room offers a very comfortable king-sized bed, with
windows on two sides of the room and an exterior door leading to the porch.
